# HORAIZON Labs

> HORAIZON Labs is a Warsaw-based deep tech venture studio that partners with technical founders to turn breakthrough research into market-ready, investable companies. We operate across three integrated tracks: Commercialization, Fundraising, and Company-Building.

## What We Do

HORAIZON Labs backs early-stage deep tech startups in AI, cybersecurity, biotechnology, defense, and fintech. We are not a traditional fund or accelerator — we embed with founders and work hands-on across the critical layers required to make a venture execution-ready. Our model typically combines a small equity stake (5–15%) with a success fee on fundraising, keeping founder risk low while aligning our incentives with real outcomes.

### Three core tracks:
- **Commercialization**: Sharpening product positioning, clarifying the buyer and use case, framing a credible pilot thesis
- **Fundraising**: Tightening the core narrative, building stronger materials, running a structured investor process
- **Company-Building**: Shaping the initial team, setting up legal and advisor structure, creating operating rhythm around the tech

- **QurieGen** — AI-powered single-cell technology for oncology drug discovery ("Google Maps for cells"). €2.2M Pre-Seed raised. Investors: Tim Draper, Lighthouse Ventures, Tensor Ventures. NATO DIANA participant.
- **Secure M Systems** — Trusted governance layer for access, change, and compliance across critical infrastructure. Raising €2.5M Pre-Seed.
- **Quantumz.io** — Quantum-inspired LLM compression layer. Up to 32x model size reduction without quality loss. Raising €3.5M Seed.
- **Audomate** — AI-powered regulatory compliance automation for European banks, insurers, and crypto firms (DORA, MiCA, NIS2). Live inside a major European insurer, cutting audit effort by up to 90%. Raising €1M Pre-Seed.

## Background

Following a successful exit from Braight Technologies (acquired by Toronto-listed Kings Entertainment), the HORAIZON Labs team launched the studio to provide the hands-on support they wished they had during their own founder journey. Based in Warsaw with a strong network across Central and Eastern Europe, HORAIZON works with founders across Europe and beyond.
